During the moments of my philosophies, I have always asked myself: Are we just characters in a novel? Or is it the opposite? That I am really writing my story? My Fate and Destiny. Kage lived in the shadows of a dying city for the most of his life, his sister and him abandoned when they were barely children. Kage can only protect her, so he must stay on the streets, hiding himself in the shadows of the city. Two days ago Congress declared that all third children below the age of nineteen are to be brought to them for execution and all third children nineteen and above are to be sent to camps across the world, the remaining of the children are safe for now anyway. The entire country went into mayhem. Sure their had been executions for the 'public's benefit' but never such a big amount of children. Last year they took my baby sister and brother from me. Now they are wanting to take my brother Rae and myself away to be executed?! We have to leave but I don't know if we can leave our mother behind willingly. Even though to two siblings would have to leave everything and everyone they had no other choice than to go. What happens when the people that they are with share troubled history, similar dreams and the lies that surround them instantly become clear. Irmuska a warrior at heart, dedicated to protecting everyone even at the cost of herself. Rae an innocent child with wings to soar above the corruption. The magyk of sea will heal the water and defend the stability. Defender of wood will heal those with no desire to heal themselves. But what happens when their fifth member has given up on himself? What happens when in order to protect the world, the ones he cares for he has to embrace himself to eventually lose himself to what he fears, to the darkness that has begun to eat at his soul.
