For Jace Herondale, shocking, exciting occurrences are a given. Demonic bonds to evil adopted brothers. Non-long lost sisters. Extra angelic blood from an evil non-father. He'd gotten used to these things by now. What he hadn't gotten used to, however, were teenage doppelgangers from alternate dimensions, but now was as good a time as any to start.

After one of Magnus's spells goes awry, Clary, Jace, Alec, Isabelle, Simon, Maia, and Magnus are all drawn into a mirror, and into a different dimension. Now they must figure out how to get home, navigating a parallel world of their own, new bodies they aren't so used to, and fleeing memories that tie them further and further to the new world. All characters are Cassandra Clare's, and I hope I did them justice. The swapped characters are based off of Cassandra Jean's drawings on Tumblr, and Cassandra Clare's naming them, although I did change a couple names...

Jace left his sister behind to join Valentine. Jocelyn is awake. Both Val and Clary are working on their relationship and Clary has stopped pushing her to talk to Jocelyn. Alec and Val are together as are Magnus and Lucy. But all of them can feel the missing piece that is Jace. Valkyrie is trying to find her brother and bring him home at all costs. Lucy is worried about both her parabatai and her brother neither of who have been the same since Jace left. Will Jocelyn answer Val's questions? Will Jace learn who his parents really are? Will Valentine reveal the truth about Valkyrie's twin? And what about the mysterious Shadowhunter who goes by the name of Sebastian Verlac? And what happens to Val's relationship with Clary after Aldertree releases the dead or alive order on Jace?

The gang had been living their daily lives at the NYC Institute, (Magnus and Simon shifting between their own apartments and the institute) demon hunting, training, fighting in wars, going on missions, having an occasional date with their significant other and so on. When one morning all Shadowhunters and new turned or young Downworlders under the age of 20 had been called in by the council for a mandatory meeting to be held at all institutes around the world at 12 pm sharp (they attended whatever institute was closest). The meeting discussed that the council had made the decision that all Shadowhunters and newly turned or young Downworlders under the age of 20 have been made mandatory to attend a proper education wether it was at the Shadowhuters academy (boarding optional years 5-20), Idris academy (boarding compulsory years 13-20), downworlders academy (boarding compulsory years 3-20), or the Alicante infant Academy (boarding optional years 3-12). The purpose of this change was to keep the culture alive and be educated on their culture and history, to educate the young children and adults about who they are and importance on the accords, to keep them physically healthy, and to bring both shadowhunters and downworlders together and see each other as equals instead of always discriminating each other and seeing each other as the others. How will the gang adapt to this new change? Will friendships and relationships be tested? Will they enjoy getting an education? Will this new change cause a war between the new socially evolving council and the old/previous old fashioned council? [A Clace fanfic but will explore and or include/mention some Sizzy, Malec, and other relations ships. Also this is my first fanfic so I hope you enjoy and I'm happy to take any advice into consideration to make it better for you to read. Now why are you still reading the intro get reading!! Asmodeus lets Simon Lewis send out letters to his close friends from the Shadow World saying goodbye to them before all his memories are lost. The letters pull at everyone's emotions differently, ultimately making the goodbye harder for them but more worth it. This short fanfic is emotional, but I wanted to make it because I felt like we didn't really get to see how Izzy and everyone felt after returning to Idris without Simon, and this story explores it more.

Valentine and Jonathan Morgenstern are dead. Clary stopped Valentine from using the Angel Raziel's wish to destroy the Downworld and with it her older sister. But things are only ever calm before the storm. Val and Jace are suffering from nightmares both having dreams of Val's younger twin brother Jonathan. Magnus and Lucy are back together and Magnus has now lost the title of High Warlock. Simon is marked with the Mark of Cain and none of the Shadowhunters can figure out why. Valkyrie and Clary have put their differences aside and started helping each other fix their family names while those in Idris still judge Val on her demonic blood. How does the Queen of Edom find a way to make both Val and Jace suffer for their actions against her son? Which one turns out it be the Owl? Why is Alec being secretive around Val? And do both Clary and Val get tied to Jonathan in Lilith's ritual to bring him back? Which sister will give in to the darkness and which one will fight the bond that Lilith forged between the Morgenstern twins and their Fairchild sister? Disclaimer: I only own Val and Lucy and the plot lines that you don't recognize. I own none of the dialogue that comes from the show nor do I own the plot that the show follows.
