For those many months, Mai is struggling to move on from that dreadful and horrific case her and her friends were put on. Many times she had woken up, crying and in fear because the things she witnessed are forever haunting her. She wants Naru back, to hold her, to comfort her, and to let her know everything will be alright. Currently, she's working at the diner once again. That was the only place she ever felt safe. Graduating from school with decent grades, she is unsure on what she should do now... What will the future hold for Mai? How will this story end? She hopes to go back onto cases and and study deeper into the world of spirits with her lover.

On a case, Mai ended up getting possessed, sucked into the world of spirits and demons. As she is trapped, Naru and his group must find a way to free her before it is too late. But that doesn't mean Mai has nothing to do, she must venture through this dimension of fog to escape; to try not to get killed by the darkness.. Gene, (Naru's dead twin brother) will attempt to help both Mai and Naru so they could be reunited and away from this mess

Her guide had stopped appearing. Not surprising. Gene had passed on. He didn't need to stay. His body was found. The dreams still came and went, she didn't need his help anymore. Mai finished school. Got a degree in Parapsychology. Started helping people. No fancy equipment required. She still has contact with her old team. Occasionally help them on their cases. Even Masako. They were pretty amazed by how much her abilities had grown. Everything was simple. But a special case in England might change things.

Here gene never came to japan until now so there was no accident and he is pretty much alive and i also introduced another character mayumi taniyama as mai's elder twin sister.... (Not identical) Since gene and noll never came to japan they haven't met the taniyama twin's... ie...., until now... My 1st trial. Choose 'ghost hunt' Hope u guys enjoy it... Its been three years since Mai joined Shibuya Psychic Research. She has gone to college and is working with the people she loves. Life seems to be going wonderfully for Mai, until her nineteenth birthday. Strange things are happening, not just with her but with her boss, Naru, who as actually Dr Oliver Davis, too. And what's up with this new case? What are the clients not telling them? Does it prove to be too much for SPR, even for Naru?

It has been three years since Naru, also known as Oliver Devis left for England, it has been three years since she had lost contact with her so called SPR family, what happened to the Mai that once they all known.

Hey guys. I found a story written by an author who I am a major fan of. Unfortunately the original author of this story passed away before being able to finish this. Her fanfiction.net name was DeathWillNotPrevail. I want to continue this story. Everything after Chapter 13 is my own idea but it will be based off of the original authors ideals. If any of you have any suggestions I am more than willing to put the idea into the story.
