(Currently on hiatus) He's just another senior at his high school in Queens trying to make it to graduation. But when his brand new Nintendo Switch starts acting out of the ordinary, Lincoln Matheson's world suddenly merges with another in order to create a real life adventure he wasn't prepared for. He and his friends are suffering from this new curse, taking on the powers and appearances of people they're not, and Lincoln - the kid who's good at skateboarding and bad at math - is the only one who can set things right. The chosen hero has never been so terrified. (This piece of fan fiction is a rewrite of one of my oldest works on the internet, written when I was around 13 or 14. This rewrite involves a more cohesive plot, more natural dialogue, as well as some utilization of the then-not-released Breath of the Wild lore. I hope you all like my second shot at this premise!)

(Y/N) is an average 14-year-old girl. She loves anime and manga, drawing, music and VIDEOGAMES! Her parents think that drawing, anime and manga, and videogames are a waste of time. But of course - being the little rebel she is - she continues doing whatever she wants. One day, she receives a parcel. She opens it up in her room. She cheers and hyperventilates. Inside was the game she's always wanted. Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Her parents never bought her the game. She squeals in happiness and excitement. She inserts the game into her 3ds. There's already a file named BEN. (Y/N) tries to delete it but nothing happens. She tries and tries again. But still nothing. She gives up and creates her own file. She plays the game and easily passes the levels. After a few hours, the game starts glitching out. She shrugs it off and continues playing. She passes a guy that looks like Link, but has blood streaming from his eyes. He orders her to stop playing. She mistakes it as some sort of prank and continues playing.
