When Lan Xichen picked up the smell of fresh blood while walking through a forest, he went to investigate. What he found was destruction. Broken branches, ripped ground, a few, smaller, fallen trees, and a giant, dead, demon snake. As he walked further onto the scene, a flash of purple at the corner of his eye caught his attention. There, covered in so much blood and dirt he mostly blended into the underbrush, lay an unconscious man.

Lance gets injured protecting Keith leading to another bonding moment, but when Lance wakes up Keith is mad at him, Lance can't figure out why Keith is angry, he thought they were starting to get along or were at least better than you could die and I wouldn't care. Keith is upset, because he can't keep watching Lance get hurt. Because if he keeps being reckless he might actually die and Keith doesn't know what he would do with himself if Lance did die.
