Long ago, the most formidable races on earth waged war against one another in a valiant struggle against evil. The honorable Kalopine, who were fighting in vain to protect the humans against the depraved Luvine who wished to enslave them, imprisoned the Luvine and locked them away inside a crystal orb enchanted with deadly sorcery. Despite this apparent victory, the Kalopine had virtually wiped themselves out, sacrificing themselves for the humans. Now, millennia after the initial conflict, the world is changing--evil is brewing once again as the cage begins to deteriorate, unleashing creatures of chaos on the defenseless new world.

A Young demon child is raised under the impression that he will never be anything more than a hand maid for the Devil, because of the demon in his blood. He is told repeatedly that his mother's cancer was his fault and convinced that he killed her. His emotionally and fisically abusive Aunt Carolyn convinced Lucas that trying was in vien and he should only look for a way to go back to hell where he belonged. After a sudden move to a small scrambled town with people of all shapes and sizes Lucas finds that all creatures are welcome here, but will they really tolerate, a demon? Lucas is unrolled in a school where his teacher, Mr. Mowi begins the hard prosses off breaking Lucas out of his very think shell. But Lucas doesn't was to open up to his story so easily. Until He falls for a golden haired boy, J.J, who Lucas see's as perfect ina everyway.

In hindsight... opening a particularly suspicious book in a crazy old bats' attic wasn't a very good idea. Oh well, too late now. It's not like any of us were hurt. At least not yet. We, as in my friends, Maya and Lydia, just have to find away out of this nuttjob wonderland, avoiding evil giants, fugly witches, and midget trolls, unscathed and alive. That is... before Maya kills either Lydia or I for getting all of us into this mess.
