A simple plea to the barracudas of the corporate world: do something. Do something before we find out exactly how much the Earth can take. Do something today, so that your grandchildren aren't left to piece together the world you polluted. It's not impossible to be eco-friendly, and the planet's well-being is worth paying a little extra. Corona recently introduced plastic-free six-pack beer rings that break down into organic material. Patagonia turns plastic bottles into parkas. Lush Cosmetics creates solid shampoo bars to reduce packaging waste. It's possible. It's happening. Follow their example.

Do we know what we're losing each time we waste materials? Can we see what we are missing in just words? Can we feel the pain of those who need us to be better? Are we willing to give up what we need to, to do what we need to?

Imagine a world where you could only live with other friends. Friends you didn't even know Imagine a world where you never met your birth parents. Imagine a world where everyone, and everything, is the same. ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...until one day. Mitomi Mikisa is different from everyone else in the world. She is learning disabled, and she is a loner. She still remembers her birth parents. They were with her when she was young. However, they had to keep it a secret, otherwise something bad would happen to Mikisa, and since her parents loved her so much, they wanted to protect her from all the dangerous dangers that could happen. However, someone found out. Someone called the cops. The cops got her mother, but her father was...gone. Ever since then, Mikisa is sure she would find her parents and make a difference to this simply plain but same world. But a lot of challenges can be put onto Mikisa, and she's already broken one rule: Don't. Be. A. Loner. ...but she can do more. She can make a difference.

Sammy Hill suffers from social anxiety. She fears being constantly judged for her opinion. She rarely speaks to her teachers, resulting in poor grades in all of her classes. Other teens give her a hard time for her lack of speech, often calling her a "mute" or an "attention seeker." The only way she feels comfortable speaking to another human is through online chat rooms, where she talks to people with similar interests that also have a hard time speaking their thoughts. In hope for a passing grade on her Algebra exam, she seeks help on an online math site. A smile appeared on her lips when she found a chat room. This is where she met him. Nymyxell: Why aren't you out showing your talent to colleges?" He typed back immediately. Giso123: Colleges don't like kids like me. Nymyxell: Kids like you? You're practically a genius! Giso123: I have disadvantages. Nymyxell: Disadvantages? So you're just going to sit on this website and help people with math? Giso123: Yeah, I would be helping out someone, something I can't really do in person. That night he logged off at 8:47PM. She was definitely interested in the boy. He was.... different. Later, she would find out just how different he was.
