Just imagine, in an alternative Universe were Makima was never found by the Government and had a different life hidden away from Society and Himeno is the one in her place, being in charge of conducting the special operations and leader of the special groups and recruiting devil hunters into Public service, being the one to have the power of the Ghost Devil in contract and having full control over this one, while Makima in the other hand, is a small girl, taken in and adopted by a Foster Family living in the outside of civilization in the country side with adoptive siblings and being raised in secret and hidden away from humanity since the moment of her rebirth. And by the time Himeno is on duty, hears about the Zombie Devil and gets to finds Denji. Now this is where we see a whole different story on forward.
