This is a Legend of Korra fan fiction. It's about little Asami and her sister Akane. They used to have a happy life, until their family was attacked by fire benders and their mother killed. When one of the fire benders is about to attack, Akane finds out she's a fire bender and is able to safe her and her sister. But since she never learned fire bending, she can't control the fire and her left hand gets burned. Her father refuses to call Akane his daughter, because fire benders were the ones who killed his wife. Akane grows up in an orphanage, and is an outsider because of her burnt hand and her caginess. When she is sixteen, she runs away and starts a new life in Republic City, not knowing, that her big sister Asami is just a few blocks away.

Korra just moved from the South Pole to republic city where she got her first opportunity, to become a dancer in a renowned performing arts school, and she tries her best, but will a group of bullies bring her down, or will she stand up and show them what she's got. She meets Asami, Bolin and Mako and her new year here has lots of drama. When Mako has a crush on her what will she do? Will Korra's dream come true or will her hopes crash on the day of the disaster? Modern Makorra...no bending

She has become so stressed and drawled back, that Tenzin decided it was time for a trip and a break from her duties. With the spirits and humans together again, new trouble stirs not only in Korra's life but in Mako's as well can team avatar work together once more or will memories and change just be to much for the avatar?
