Meryl sat in her room, reading tales of adventure, wishing she had adventures of her own to fill her everyday life. Maks lived for the thrill, but wished he had someone by his side, because without a partner, there was no one to feel alive with. A pair of schoolmates, Meryl and Maks, found each other in the tempest of life, and though they were different, they fitted together like two puzzle pieces because she was everything he was not and he was everything she wanted to be.
