But what Lapis forgot, was a Gem on Homeworld, waiting for her to return. Her name was Aquamarine, a gem from the water. Knowing Lapis since they were both created, Aquamarine longed for the day when Lapis would return home, unknowing she was trapped in a mirror. Finally, when Lapis returned to homeworld, Aquamarine rejoiced. But when Lapis was forced to go to earth with Jasper and Peridot, Aquamarine followed. Now on Earth, Aqua is on the run from the Homeworld and looking for Lapis, and finding Steven Universe instead.
