A lonely farm girl met a strange, doe-eyed girl by the fence at her school. The offer to replace her loneliness with a visit to a palace far away with a friend who was everything she wanted to be was too pleasant to pass up, so she went with the dream girl. Maybe, looking back, it was all too good to be true.

Saoirse have never been the same since a traumatic event occurred in her life. She's been diagnosed by doctors after doctors and all of them, who tried all sorts of ways, could not cure her of the disease of the mind. Losing all of your family in a fire could do that, the nuns who care for her in the home thinks so. Sole survivor of an affluent family who died in a fire, and the only heiress of vast lands, properties, and their ancestral home, Saoirse struggles to continue and attempts suicide by drowning. After escaping the watchful eyes of grimly nuns, she jumps from the top of the cliff onto the falls and the angry river water drifts her onto the estuary -a place where the river meets the sea. Covering events that occurred in the space of a few hours, a fifteen-year-old boy navigates through his world in the only way that he knows how, all the while facing the truths about the people around him- the people who are his family. This is a true short story/novella about events that occurred in the space of several hours one day back in 1988, when I was 15 years old, after leaving the hospital after a suicide attempt. They were things that shook me to my core and made me forever view my biological family differently. The first edition was previously published on Amazon, yet is no longer available. This second edition is exclusive to Wattpad.

The story revolves around a girl who suffers from mental illnesses and among those is maladaptive daydreaming. At first, there was no implications with it, she doesn't have a problem with it and so does her therapist as she uses it as a coping mechanism. However, an unexpected interaction happened and it changed the course of her life. This occurrence started affecting her life and relationship; she's finally seeing the negative effects. Her fantasy and reality began coinciding and she started having a hard time identifying which is which. Hello, fellow person! This book is Maladaptive Daydreaming, the symptoms, how it affects someone's daily life, and also my experience with it. More information, of course. Since I've recently discovered that I have Maladaptive daydreaming, I finally have an answer as to why I have so so so so SO many stories and ideas and prompts in my head all the time, and why I can't seem to get very far with any of them. I've decided to create a little chapter "book" where I'll be putting these little stories and prompts (however short or long) so that there will still be activity here on my account and so that I can feel a lot better mentally when I can get these ideas out. And honestly, since I discovered Maladaptive daydreaming I've definitely been a little worse-off mentally, I just can't seem to get ideas when I need them (such as when I'm going to sleep) and its affecting my mental health. So anyway, I'll be chucking stuff down here, hopefully it'll be good!

His parents' psychological, and sometimes physical, abuse rendered him mute. He had been hiding the scars which carved into his skin behind the bandages. He had been living in his alternative reality after a certain incident. Someday, he met with a young psychiatrist which made him feel the things he never felt before.

Scarlet Harrington is a successful and famous writer. All the novels she wrote are brilliant and so unexpected. All that she got to come from her "too high" imagination. But, behind it all, Scarlet has maladaptive daydreaming - a psychological condition where she can spend hours in the world of her imagination. So, she becomes addicted to fantasizing. Until she finally meets someone who she should never meet and brings her to the beginning of her chaos. This story is based on a true event. ~~ "Everything I see is not real. So this is basically a story about one of my many maladaptive daydreams, in this one, the royal family of witches go to Earth undercover to see if it would be possible if Monsters could live amongst Humans in secrecy, or perhaps even co-exist with them. In this story you will meet 16 twin sisters (don't ask how that worked, they have magic) and their journey to Earth to discover if they could perhaps live in secrecy, or harmony.
