A girl who has been diagnosed with a disorder called 'Maladaptive Daydreaming'. Luna, an excessive daydreamer wishes to live the life she fantasizes for. Not wealth or any complicated sorts, only comfort and beauty lies in her day dreams. Somewhere where everyone is so kind she'll always be happy. One day when she took a nap, she woke up from the sounds of twinkling and the feelings of cold breeze. She realised that she was in an entirely foreign place. Nowhere comparable to the world she had been living her whole life in... They call it the 'upper dimension'. Since she's always lead a life where reality and fantasy is mashed together, it's difficult to tell if this is just a dream and whilst the place was heavenly, happiness is not guaranteed. A lonely farm girl met a strange, doe-eyed girl by the fence at her school. The offer to replace her loneliness with a visit to a palace far away with a friend who was everything she wanted to be was too pleasant to pass up, so she went with the dream girl. Maybe, looking back, it was all too good to be true.

The two princesses fight across the Multiverse, in search of the essence to unlock the power of the Etheral Gem, which will give its user the ability to make any whim, no matter how good or evil, come true. A short story about a girl who created a own reality around her life. This one is based of my own experience with maladaptive daydreaming as a coping mechanism. ⚠️Please keep in mind that writers always make things extra in their stories. Since I've recently discovered that I have Maladaptive daydreaming, I finally have an answer as to why I have so so so so SO many stories and ideas and prompts in my head all the time, and why I can't seem to get very far with any of them. I've decided to create a little chapter "book" where I'll be putting these little stories and prompts (however short or long) so that there will still be activity here on my account and so that I can feel a lot better mentally when I can get these ideas out. And honestly, since I discovered Maladaptive daydreaming I've definitely been a little worse-off mentally, I just can't seem to get ideas when I need them (such as when I'm going to sleep) and its affecting my mental health. So anyway, I'll be chucking stuff down here, hopefully it'll be good!

Corinne Wesley is a seventeen year old girl from Washington, D.C. On the outside, she is just a struggling, nobody teen with emotional issues. On the inside, she experiences thousands of different realities and personalities, that comes with living with Maladaptive Daydreaming. A non well-known psychiatric condition. Constantly trying to manage the real world while engaging with her fantasies, Corinne struggles through high school with her not so helpful older sister, Amber. Invisible to society, but a Queen of her kingdoms, no one can truly break Corinne's impenetrable spirit. When Dylan Stone moves into town, Corinne begins to question where her hopes should lie. In a magical land where anything is possible with no one but herself for company, or in the reality that is more cruel than kind to her. Dylan might be the only key to bringing her out of her lifelong method of escaping the pain and trauma buried so deeply in her mind. Will she take a chance at love? Or let her sanctuary of imagination continue to be all that she lives for?
