Piper was as normal as a demigod could be. She had friends, a boyfriend, and a cabin full of decently nice siblings. Unfortunately, demigods don't get breaks, so Piper's life begins crumbling around her. ......... Percy doesn't know what's going on. Everyone at camp is acting weird, save for a select few people, but especially Annabeth and Jason. He and Annabeth hadn't been on the best terms since Tartarus, and every day she still seemed a little scared of what he could do, but everything had seemed fine. Until Piper was accused of being a traitor. The two hadn't been the closest out of the 7, but Percy knew Piper. She would never do something like that. It was just a matter of getting her away from the problem so Chiron could deal with it without Piper or anyone else getting hurt. ....... Percy is non binary and Jasper is broken up because Piper is lesbian. Also, Piper has a girlfriend but she is mortal and didn't want to go. Would not recommend to the innocent children of the gods (I know you all are demigods. You wouldn't be reading this otherwise). Lots of references to sex later in the book. There are some non-straight relationships as well. Just warning you all, but I trust you not to read if you are uncomfortable. Few people are as damaged as Percy Jackson after the second Titan War, but few people refuse help as much as Percy Jackson as well. In a last ditch effort to keep her best friend's head above water, Annabeth begs an unlikely camper for help, hoping that maybe he can get through to the hero where she and the rest of the seven could not. Though it starts as a favor to his sister, neither Malcolm, nor anybody else at camp, was prepared for the bond that is built between the two boys when forced together through Annabeth's worried meddling.
