Kirstin Maldonado walks into her first class where she meets four other students, she also meets the choir director and finds out that she is apart of an elite acapella group at her high school. Will she fit in with the others, will they end up sticking together after they graduate high school, will they make it big, will they be able to write songs that mean something to them?

Kyra is a 13 year old girl who has gone from foster home to foster home since she was 8. Kyra is OBSESSED with Pentatonix, so when Kevin Olusola comes to the orphanage where Kyra is living she freaks out. Kevin has been looking for the right kid to adopt, so when he meets 13 year old Kyra he falls in love and adopts her. Kyra now has to adjust to going on tour, going to Pentatonix rehearsals, and living with Kevin and Avi.

Can they show her a better way to survive? Or will they all crash and burn?
