Magnus and Alec are happily married, they don't think that they need anything more than each other. But one eventful day, Alec finds a little baby. An orphan. They decide to take him in, not knowing that with all the love and pleasure he will bring, trouble won't be far away. Max is different and even Magnus who has lived for more than 400 years, has never seen such powers, nor learned how to control them.

Alec stared at the beauty before him, his breathing became shallow and his heart suddenly felt heavy in his chest. His and his husband's bodies nearly touching one another's, their faces close to each other. He could see a twinkle in Magnus' eyes. Alec took a deep breath, as he pulled Magnus back up into his arms. His lips against Magnus' ears, chest pressed against each other. "I'm not stepping on your feet, am I?" Alec asked quietly. Magnus laughed low in his throat. "How could you be?" he said, "It's like I'm walking on air." Or: A collection of oneshots and drabbles.

Alec has always hated his full name-Alexander-seeing it as nothing more than a reminder of reprimands and expectations. But Magnus changes everything. In his voice, "Alexander" becomes something else entirely: a melody of love, a whispered promise, a declaration of devotion. Through moments of tenderness, passion, and even conflict, Alec learns to hear his name the way Magnus speaks it-not as a burden, but as something sacred.
