Starts in the events of Descendants 2, but an unexpected twist sends this story off the rails. Evie thought she finally found herself and was well on the way to her own happily ever after, but a blooming attraction to the young King Benjamin threatens not only her own relationship but her friendship with Mal, Ben's girlfriend and her best friend. When the fate of Auradon is put on the line, she has no choice but to save Ben, even if it means hurting the ones she loves the most. Before she knows it, she is dealing with aftermath of a traitorous kiss and the politics of getting kids off the Isle of the Lost. The wicked never rest. Trouble is coming in from all sides. A foreign enemy is coveting Auradon's crown. Forgotten villians are scheming on the Isle. Friendships are put to the test when feelings are heightened and destiny makes itself known. Expect cameos from some of your favorite villans and fleshed out characters not explored enough in the Descendants universe. The stakes are higher than ever before. This will go beyond Descendants 2 and into a third, fourth... actually better to think of it like a series with different villan arcs.
