This is set after the events of the first season of the Netflix series "The Babysitters Club"-This will only be based on the timeline and universe provided by the show up to the end of the first season (for now).- Some dialogue might be heavily inspired by the books :) This characters are not mine, this is a fanfic - Remember that english isnt my first language, please be patient with me :) 💕

Mallory decides her bliss. Disclaimer - I don't own Baby-Sitters Club 2020, but this is me working on finishing my series of episode responses for each character utilizing the second regular Froday challenge for September which is next. (AO3 Post Sep 2023)

Mallory Pike used to have a voice. She used to raise her hand in class, speak up during Babysitters Club meetings, and dream out loud about becoming a writer. But lately, everything feels... off. Even among her friends in the Babysitters Club, Mallory feels like an outsider. She's younger than the core members, quieter, and never quite knows how to jump into their conversations. No matter how hard she tries, she always feels a step behind, too shy, too weird, too much. And now, with Kristy inviting new members and the original girls starting to think about life beyond the club, Mallory can't help but wonder if the BSC is slowly slipping away from her too. At home, things aren't much better. As the oldest of eight kids, she's used to being needed, but that doesn't mean she feels understood. She's stuck somewhere in the in-between: too old to be a kid, too young to be trusted like the others. And just when things couldn't get more confusing, Mallory begins to notice new, unfamiliar feelings, fluttery, nervous feelings around a certain someone, and it only adds to the storm inside her. Love, or even the idea of it, feels like one more thing she doesn't understand, one more thing she's behind on. With her confidence shrinking and her anxiety rising, Mallory finds herself retreating more and more, watching, listening, but rarely speaking. She's scared that if she opens her mouth, she'll say the wrong thing... or worse, nothing anyone cares about. But somewhere deep down, there's still a spark of the old Mallory, the one who wanted to write her own stories, not just hide in someone else's. Now, Mallory has to figure out if she can find her voice again before she fades into the background for good.

When a new family moves to Stoneybrook, they seemed great. The parents instantly got along with the other adults, and their children all became the most popular kids in their grades. But it seems as if those kids are maybe not as nice as they seem. It turns out that they all were bullies, and Dawn is the first one to notice it. And, even worse, these people are directly affecting the lives of the club members.
