Takes another challenge again, this time as one of her team's captains. After Maire makes a promise to Coach April, that she was going to play like she did along with the USWNT, and not quit. Even if she really wants to. There's one thing that Maire lacks, besides meeting new people, and that's leadership. After Maire's new coach makes her the 2nd captain for her team, much to her dismay, she decides to keep her promise and not quit. Maire also finds herself in a tough situation after she tries to befriend a new player from her team, a bossy, ruthless, and yet, a good goal scorer midfielder named Hadley, who hates her. However, when some of the players of the USWNT get injured after a practice game against a rough team, Maire along with three of her teammates, a goalie named Nora, Hadley the new midfielder, and a defender named Clara. Must take their place, in order to help the USWNT win another trophy, for their winter league. This time however, Maire is not alone on the field, and has her cousin Clara to play alongside her. Maire, with the help of Clara, Hadley, and Nora, have to work together, in order to set their differences aside, and become the team that their coach wants them to be.
