Captive... It's a word I'm familiar with. For four years this word applied to me. Kept in a cage with nothing but rags to wear and one meal a day... Most of the time, at least. Whatever. They probably didn't want me alive and it was just as much of a shock to them as it was to me that I was able to live for so long on scraps. I was surprised I was able to live for so long, period. I had been beaten so many times that I gave up on escape. And then it all changed that night. I was supposed to get my routine beating that day-it happened every two months-but as I watched the guards change shifts, I realized something was wrong... * Violet(Vi) was only sixteen when she was taken away from the wasteland that was once her pack territory. Everything she once knew was gone and she was the only survivor, only kept alive for the valuable information she refused to give up. She refused to give these rogues the satisfaction, and then let them kill her because she was useless. So she stayed silent... For nearly four years. Colton(Colt) was the Alpha of the Silver Nightshade Pack, which is located in a majority of the Southwestern United States. He was giving up on finding his mate and the change in character was noticeable. Though not normally short-tempered or impulsive, he had been noticeably upset and not quite himself the past year. And then it happens. All the puzzle pieces fall in to place, but she's not quite the mate he expected. Her baggage is heavy, to say the least, and she won't speak to him. While he understands why, she still gets on his last nerve with her fiery personality and stubborn streak. (All Rights Reserved) That means no copying -_- *I do not own the pictures for the cover-they're not mine and I'm not taking credit for it.*

Copyright © 2012 "It's not something so easily controlled. Just like the sun sets every night and rises again in the morning, how birds fly south for the winter, and the sky is blue. The monster in me comes out every night to fill an unsatitionable hunger. One that no food of any kind can fill: a hunger for blood." We all have monsters in us, just some can controll it better than others. In the state of Maine and a small town along the border of Canada, something evil lurks in the dark woods of the Northern Pack lead by Alpha James and his son Emerson James. Emerson takes care of a strange little cat shifter Kriss whom he had kidnapped from the clutches of the abusive cat clan just south of them. Emerson trails through the odd behavior of the pale, dark haired girl that he has grown to adore as he goes on a journey of what it truely means to be brave and selfless through the means of the weird cat child with glowing silver eyes meanwhile he tries to hunt down the monster in the woods.
