Hating her fails when he keeps running into trouble because she always saved him no matter how mean he was. He had no choice but to love her especially when he learned who she really was. The second there together things start taking a turn for the better.

If she was as powerful as she was suppose to be she would have forced a shift the night her mom died and saved her. She was never treated the same again.
