There is no place for us. I have learned that a while ago. Not here at least, not now and not surrounded by these people. Ignorance is bliss. While that may be true when concerning yourself, to have an ignorant nation is to have no nation at all. That is why I have never stayed still. Like a river always flowing, carving my way into the ground that has given birth to me. The same one that refuses to take me no matter how much I plead it to. The people here have always been small. They are not who this story will concern. The cosmos. The wide and indescribably vast nothingness. And this is my story, one that will be washed away by the river's flow. This is the story of the true speed of light and just how fast it can reach even the darkest corners of one's mind. All rights to the Shadow and Bone trilogy belong to Leigh Bardugo, only my original character and her storyline are my creations.

Of course Alina loved her husband. Mal was her best friend, her partner in crime, the love of her life. After all, she had given up so much of herself so he could live, so they could be married. But as their third winter at the newly-built Keramzin approaches, the life Alina left behind begins to weigh on her. - This story takes place about three years after the war ended, when Alina and Mal are running the Keramzin orphanage. Personally, I don't think it's too heavily anti-Mal, but this is definitely a fic for Nikolina shippers.

He built a new life from nothing and made himself a new man. leader of The Dregs, Bastard of the Barrel, and Ace of Crows. But leading the most notorious gang in all of Kerch had a price, which is constantly being hunted down. So Kaz wasn't surprised that he felt he was being watched, but something was different. It seemed that a person wasn't watching him, but The Shadows themselves. The Shadows were reporting back to a powerful being, one who now was hunting Kaz down with his army. So now Kaz must take a journey back to Ravka to find out what was so intriguing about him while finding out what really happened to his parents and Jordie. This is a Short Shadow and bone AU Of the first battle that I was messing around with from theories and ideas of people on the internet and what they would've preferred because we Love the Darkling no matter how bad he is he still looked hot doing so. This story is set after Alina spent some time Growing her power and building her army, joining her alliance with the king now that General Kirigan no longer commanded the second army. After a few years this will be the first time Alina and alekzander come face to face again. hi! the title is self-explanatory, but this is just a book of one shots with the grishaverse characters (mainly kaz). we do take requests so feel free to leave a comment :) all rights of the characters belong to leigh bardugo (except for joride/jordan. i came up with her). i hope you enjoy! When a person from her past finds her by happenstance, the truth is revealed and she wonders if she should ever return home. But she is so much more than she allows the rest of the world to see. Kaz "Dirtyhands" Brekker, the Bastard of the Barrel, is a cold man driven by the notion of revenge. At least, that is what all of Ketterdam believes. But when an opportunity worth 1 million kruge presents itself, Kaz finds himself at an unpleasant crossroads where his past and his thirst for vengeance meet. Perhaps this job was much more personal than he realized. **This story will mainly follow the plotline of the Shadow and Bone Netflix series with some references to the books being made.
