It was a completely normal mission. Supposed to last for a few days, yes, but a normal mission. A normal mission for which they had to call for backup when everything didn't go according to plan. Aizawa Shouta was called as a backup for a mission. He was out of the city, getting a gift for his husband when he got an emergency call. A situation nearby was getting out of hand. When he arrives at the scene a little child he was trying to evacuate manifests their quirk and turns Shouta into a cat. Unfortunately, the kid and their parents both die and it seems that no one knows how the child's quirk works. As a cat, Shouta stumbles upon two homeless kids, his cat instincts adopting the two kittens on sight. Words cut to the heart. It will leave cracks, and can make the heart shatter. This is more so for a child. Who has suffered all of this? A boy named Izuku Midoriya. Why does this happen? Because of his quirk. Quirk name: Child of the Dead Abilities/Powers: Can summon skeletons to fight. These can come from any Era. Can travel through shadows as long as they know the location. Can turn a person into a spirt. Can summon gems. Weaknesses/Downsides: Works with stamina, like most emitter quirks. Extensive shadow travel can lead to fading. That is when the holder starts to turn into shadows themselves. Undoing this takes a long time. Turning someone into a spirt takes an emotional breakdown. After, they will be placed in a critical condition. Gems will sometimes appear when the holder is emotional. Depending on the emotion, if negative, the gems will have less value. If positive, the gems have higher or greater value. I got these powers for the series Percy Jackson and The Hero's of Olympus. Izuku will have the powers of two characters. Izuku Midoriya gos home for the weekend to spend time with his mother. When his life changes forever. Kidnapped/home invasion, loosing his mom and finding his real biological father in the span of less than 72hrs. Raped, abused, scared, and confused. (this is my other book but turned into omegaverse with slightly different wording)
