Mamrie mentioned in a video (Grace's Leave of Absinthe) that the last time they drank absinthe "things got weird y'all". This is my take on what happened that day.

In an attempted to rid her feelings for Hannah, Grace starts sleeping with other random men. Little does she know Hannah feels the same way and time is running out, if none of them act on it soon, it may be too late for both of them.

She slowly opened the drawer and took out the blade and notes she had wrote months ago. She sat the notes on the floor beside her and brought the blade up to her wrist. She slide the blade across her wrist and kept cutting in the same spot till she thought it was enough. She swung open the drawer and grabbed three or four bottles of pills. She untwisted on of the caps and dumped the pills in her mouth and swallowed them. She opened up another bottle and swallowed them too. She was about to dump the next bottle in her mouth, "Open the door!" They yelled, Hannah. She couldn't think, her head pounded, making her drop the full bottle of pills on the floor, them going everywhere. She felt something wet on her skin and looked to the side, blood dripping out of her cut, blood all over the floor. Suddenly, the door bursted open. Hannah's panicked face was the last thing she saw before everything went black.
