She wanted a career. She got a crush she couldn't afford. Srushti Rao is a final-year BTech student in Mumbai with a head full of spreadsheets, side hustles, and soft dreams of building her own PR empire. Smart, organized, and emotionally allergic to chaos, she knows exactly where she's headed-until her inbox throws her off-course. BrightHalo PR wants her for a short-term consulting gig. The client? Indian cricket's rising star, Abhay Sharma. Calm. Collected. And the reason she started following cricket in 2023. Thrown into the world of celebrity management, Srushti must juggle schedules, stadiums, and one very infuriating, very charming man who makes everything feel like it's spiraling. Abhay isn't what she expected - quieter, funnier, and far more observant than his interviews suggest. And as their worlds begin to blur, so do the lines between business and something much harder to manage. But they're both terrible at saying what they feel. And sometimes, silence causes more damage than noise. Set against the backdrop of buzzing campuses, late-night calls, college festivals, and quiet messages sent across states, this is a slow-burn love story about ambition, attraction, and all the things we never say - until it's almost too late.

Cover picture credit: pinterest this is an original story, sharing my love for this kind of genre I wanted to try and do my own. please enjoy! __________________________________________________________________ Hana Madrigal lived a monotonous life working in an office 8 hours a day, wishing for her manager to at least trip on his own twice a day for being a world-class jerk. Hana wanted to quit several times but needed the money. She would often dream and think about owning a small cottage by the sea where she can cook for customers or manage a bed and breakfast inn, where she will be lounging because of the slow pace of life and loving the view of the ocean in the future: "Mom~ the cat keeps stealing my food. he's so fat already" the little girl pouts as she points to the Calico cat munching on the fish he stole. Hana wanted to laugh but held it in. "How about baby helps me check guests in first then I'll cook for you again. I won't let the cat steal it" Hana ruffles the cute little girl's hair and sees my supposed husband comes in helping out to carry the guests luggage and winks at me "oh Lord" Managing an inn with a restaurant was harder than it looks and it was easy to be overwhelmed for Hana when guests started to increase. Guest 1: Can I take home the towels and slippers? Guest 2: It's my shedding season so my fur can be around everywhere ehe. Guest 3: I need a water bed/tank or my scales will dry out Guest 4: is this fish free? I don't eat my own species that's insane. Hana: smiles professionally but in her head ( AHHHHHHHHHH BE CALM. STAY CALM. Damn you system! I just wanted to manage an inn, why did I go to another world with lots of mystical races and I suddenly had a husband and child?!)

Adam Adler's dedication to discipline began through tennis. As a young athlete, he trained at the Rick Macci Tennis Academy in South Florida, an environment where routine and accountability shaped daily life. His hard work earned him a scholarship to the University of South Carolina, where he competed as a student-athlete. While managing the demands of NCAA competition, he completed a double major in Sports & Entertainment Management and Business and graduated with honors in 2007. The lessons he learned, maintaining composure, applying structure, and pushing through pressure, would later become central to his approach as an entrepreneur.
