A hundred years kept technology back for the sake of 'Conduits', all technology research went into understanding their powers. They were born with abilities close to that of gods and thus were feared as such. Most were kicked out of civilisation, even killed, when the public knew of their powers. Some hid away in the human world, others embraced the powers and used them to help people. Others were like shadows, popping up as mercenaries or certain 'workers'. No one would think that even Conduits weren't using their full potential. Soon the whole world will know.

Our story begins with Yri resting in a Baleiveiran tavern, the Blue Pony. Weary from her travels, she is accosted by a prophetess. Concerned, and now burdened with greater purpose, she leaves her misfit band of mercenaries high and dry to follow the directions of the goddess Ela. What is her quest? The Mancers. A group of super-humans who live among us. They can transmute, teleport, seek, and camouflage. They practice magery and the control of time. They are wanted by the government because the world is scared of what they can do. And I'm one of them. Emma is a young mancer. All mancers can transmute, or turn one object into another, and teleport. At the age of 16, each mancer chooses what excess branch of magic they want to study under; Magery, Seeking, Time Warp, Camouflage, or Cosmic Studies. Those with a perfect record can choose two to study under. But, nobody has gotten a perfect record in years. The Mancers are divided based on what they practice and Emma's family practices seeking. She doesn't want to disappoint them, but she's tired of the Mancers being divided. She wants to bring them together. When she is chosen as a pupil with a perfect record her dream can become a reality. But then the Mancer hideout is compromised. Everyone must split up and flee to survive. When Emma runs into magic fanatic, Parker Hawk, he will stop at nothing to save her from being captured. They'll go through challenges and even enemies, but soon they'll meet their worst challenge yet: keeping their super identities a secret. Whoops! Oh well.
