In the aftermath of the Clone Wars and the deaths of Count Dooku and the Separatist Leaders, a shutdown signal was sent to all Battle Droids units throughout the Galaxy and the Clone Army was decommissioned, effectively putting an end to the Clone Wars. In addition, the Galactic Republic was reorganised into the First Galactic Empire, and Chancellor Palpatine, who is actually the Sith Lord, Darth Sidious, establishes himself as Emperor, putting an end to democracy and creating a new era of fear, corruption and tyranny that would last over a decade. Unknown to Palpatine, one large squadron of Battle Droids was able to resist the shutdown signal. In the possibility that Palpatine would betray him, Count Dooku instructed his secret apprentice, Jack Trevelyan, to oversee a contingency plan, to reconstruct the Droid Army and a secret project: Project Rebirth. Hidden in a secret facility on the remote planet, Meridia, located in the Unknown Regions. Jack had his Tactical Droid, Kraken, oversee the reproduction of the Droid Army and Project Rebirth and enters cryo-stasis to preserve his youth, reawakening once the time comes. In time, the Confederacy of Independent Systems will return to resume its original purpose: free the Galaxy from the corruption of the Republic, now the Empire. In the year 20 BBY, War on a Galactic level decimates the universe. The Loyal Clones of the 212th attack battalion are on reprieve after a hard engagement on Umbara. Commander Cody (CC-2224) sends a urgent reinforcement request to restore the strength of his battalion. Looking over the casualty reports he holds his head and sighs. A knock at the door jarrs his attention. "Come in." Cody answers. The sliding door makes a mechanical hiss as it opens. A trooper with older style Phase 1 armor walks into Cody's office. Cody looks up, surprised by the sight. Coated in a thick orange dust. visibly damaged and falling apart. "Evening Commander, CT-0829 I go by Axis." Axis Salutes. "You look like you've had better days trooper." Cody takes off his helmet and sets it on the desk gesturing for Axis to have a seat opposite him. "Thank you sir *he gestures to himself* I was deployed during the first battle of Geonosis. our Gunship took fire and hit the sand and before I could get out,we started sinking." He pauses "Long story short, I'm the only one who survived. I've been there fighting the bugs since that day." Axis chuckles. Cody's expression changed from surprise to admiration. That kind of grit, its not bred, its earned. and after Waxer's death this was the type of trooper Cody needed to support the men. "Well im glad you made it back to us Captain.*Cody shakes his head* Alot of good men died on our most recent engagement." Cody stands and shakes Axis's hand. "Make yourself comfortable something tells me its going to be a long day." Cody nods Axis salutes again, puts his helmet on and nods. "Any good Rations on this ship? I had sort of limited op---" Axis is cut off by a large crash that sends both clones stumbling into a nearby light panel. *Red lights blare in the hallway as clones scramble.* A clones voice on the loud speaker cuts through the sound of alarms. "Troopers to defensive positions! we are being boarded!........"

Hidden in a secret facility on the remote planet, Meridia, located in the Unknown Regions. the Kaminoan Scientist, Tuma Se, planned to have the young Jedi Knight, Jack Trevelyan, led the of the new Clone Army.
