So this is my first story on wattpad. I think there is a lot about how the lovely couples from ramayan stood strong during the toughest time and how their love remained unaffected. But we need more (infinite) fanfictions on their love before, during and after their marriage. So I present you all...random collection of one-shots, cute confessions, fights and just siblings teasing each other....in the form of a book with absolute no storyline... written by an author who never scored full in story-writing. After reading this you might wanna bang your brains out. DISCLAIMER:- This story is a complete work of fiction. It isn't meant to hurt anyone's religious beliefs. It includes romantic scenes, teasing and fictional parts for the sake of the story. So read only if you are comfortable. I believe that ingoring this story (if you aren't comfortable) is better than getting offended and leaving a hate comment. Suggestions and criticism are always welcome. Any similarities between someone else's work is purely coincidental. Plz inform me so I can give credit.( I mean I didn't copy but still... don't want any copyright strike or whatever it is) Forgive me for any spell error or grammatical mistake (I tried to translate hindi dialogues into english). Fair warning- really long chapters. Do vote and comment!!!! Cover credit: @mochis4lifeq52627

Ramayana. An Indian epic that has lived through the centuries and has only grown even more in the process. An epic that shows ideal characters, many of whom we worship, and other characters from whom we learn what we shouldn't be at any cost. But one thing that has been a constant for many centuries now is the examples we give, referring to the epic. One of the most popular ones being "Be a brother like Rama." Not only is the Ramayana an enchanting tale of love and devotion, but it's also an equally magical example of brotherhood and affection. Brothers who stood with each other through thick and thin. Brothers who would readily sacrifice their life for the other. Brothers who would love the other, and support him when nobody else did. This book brings to you the Ramayana, but this time, the limelight is on the inseparable brothers. *** Disclaimer: Please do not read this book if you do not like humanization of deities. However, I can assure you that ALL relationships in this book are shown the way they're meant to be - no non-canon shipping. I can also assure you, that since I myself am a devotee of Shri Rama, that you will never have me intentionally writing anything against him, his real nature - the same goes for the others - Sita, Lakshmana, Urmila, Bharata, Mandavi, Shatrughna, Shrutakeerti, Dasharatha, the mothers... All of them will always get their due respect in this book. Secondly, I've followed the Valmiki Ramayana throughout. Some incidents may be revelations, as quite a few things are contrary to popular perception and other versions. Thank you! Fantastic cover designed by @Mochis4lifeq52627 <3

Ramayan - Through the Eyes of Saumitra We have all heard the story of Ramayan through the eyes of Lord Rama, Sita, Hanuman, and even Ravana. But have you ever stopped to see it through Lakshman's eyes? The younger brother who left Ayodhya without a second thought. The warrior who stood awake for fourteen years. The son who silently left his mother behind. The brother who never walked ahead of Rama, yet never let him walk alone. What did Lakshman feel when he left Urmila? What went through his mind during exile, the battles, the heartbreaks, and the moments history never asked him about? This is not a different Ramayan. It is the same epic... seen through the eyes of the man who witnessed it all, yet whose own story remained untold.

✨Inspired by the timeless love of Siya and Ram, this is a modern-day tale woven with family values, traditions, laughter, and heartfelt relationships. This story is a work of fiction and is not intended to depict, alter, or hurt any religious beliefs or sentiments. It merely draws inspiration from the beloved characters and virtues associated with them. Meet Ram Raghuvanshi-the responsible eldest son, the pride of his family, and the calm amidst every storm. Beside him stand his mischievous brothers, Bharat, Lakshman, and Shatrughan, who turn every day into an adventure. In another city lives Siya, a kind-hearted, graceful young woman whose warmth and strength make her the center of her family's world. Alongside her are her sisters, her greatest companions and partners in every cherished memory. Two families. Countless traditions. A thousand moments of laughter, love, and togetherness. And somewhere between festive lights, sacred prayers, and destiny's gentle plans, begins a love story that neither Ram nor Siya ever saw coming. A journey of family, friendship, romance, and finding your person-because some stories aren't written in books; they're written in the heart. ✨ Written In The Waters Of Saryu - a modern love story inspired by Ramayan, where traditions remain timeless and love finds its own path. ✨

Duty, Mandavi mused, had taken everything from them, but as they were wont to do, all of them had accepted that such was the game Destiny played. For nothing else could explain the sudden turn of events at a time that was meant for the greatest of celebrations. The wisdom of Rama echoed in Mandavi's mind, and she smiled involuntarily. *** An OS into the mind of Mandavi, as she muses of Bharata, of their life so far, and of how love had her in an understanding that only true love will bring. Dawn breaks over four gardens, and four hearts forget themselves at once. Before the fire, before the vows, before the world calls them gods and goddesses - there is only dew-damp grass beneath bare feet, a flower reached for and a hand found instead, a peacock's cry breaking a held breath open. Here, love arrives the way monsoon arrives: unannounced, overwhelming, impossible to outrun. Four mornings. Four strangers. One unbearable, blooming first. This is Milan - where the epic hasn't yet caught up to their hearts.

Rama went through a lot more than just what is known to most people. He smiled through adversity, but did that mean he was happy? What did he feel, as a child, when he achieved all his feats? When people hailed him? What did he feel like when he himself needed to exile his wife? When he needed to ask her to prove her purity? When he saw Lakshmana walk to him despite his order to him to protect Sita? When he finally killed Ravana? When he met his sons? This is an attempt to comprehend just that. (It's an attempt, also, to humanise Sri Rama and see him as more than just a king. It's to see his emotions behind the confident aura of an emperor. Please do not read further if humanising Sri Rama is something you're against. Thanks :)

Disclaimer: This short story is partially a figment of my imagination. I do not intend to hurt anybody's sentiments or feelings. My sole aim while writing this was to try to portray the feelings of guilt and sorrow ridden mother and her family. There are many strong characters and beautiful family members who probably don't get enough space in Ramayana. I hope people enjoy this and I'm extremely sorry if this hurts you.
