One can only procrastinate on their duty for 2 millenia before it begins to raise suspicions about true intentions. Two beings, each seeking the same motive. Two beings, lost in the expanse of their own existences, crossed paths in a realm completely unknown. Though for vastly different reasons, they shared a common yearning; a burning passion and desire to discover what it means to be human. This (not fully canonical) take on Alex Kister's viral analog horror series "The Mandela Catalogue" explores a new side of the series and Alternates as a whole.

A group of spoilt, young English businessmen, upset at the murder of the brother of their closest friend by apartheid police, decide to take revenge. Their plan: to rob South Africa's largest gold mine and to distribute the booty to the South African liberation movement. The Great Mine Robbery set in the 1970s, takes you through their travails in a unique and unusual story involving a genius black engineer, corrupt businessmen, colluding apartheid government officials, Rhodesian war mercenaries and Jamaican gangsters. The story climaxes in a most unusual way on the stairs of White Hart Lane football stadium in North London. It is the classic tale of a group of five Londoners robbing the rich to take care of the poor. It also exposes apartheid South Africa for what it was - a devilish, crooked system propped up by corrupt, two-faced businessmen living off the gold of the land.

This short story, about identical twin sisters, is set in modern Johannesburg. The story starts at the sister's place of work, in the shadow of the giant statue of Nelson Mandela in Sandton City.

This story takes place in the fall of 2009, in Mandela County. You have been dealing with alternates your whole life, in fact, they've become a regular thing. Ever since the order of destroying all electronics with screens and mirrors, alternate appearances have become so rare, that some begin even to question their existence. You have always been curious about these alternates, not so much afraid. 19 years old, you are finally starting your own life, moving away from your paranoid father. Attending classes at Mandela University, trying to make friends, you life finally seem to be taking a turn for the better. But something insidious lurks in your past. You can't help but feel responsible for your mother's death. Will you uncover the secrets of the alternates' true intentions, find out what your father is hiding from you? Some things here may or may not be inaccurate to the lore, as not much is known about some areas of the lore. Some of this is my own interpretation of the lore, apologies if you do not agree with it. Set in the fictional Mandela County, Wisconsin, during the early 1990s and late 2000s, the story unfolds in a world plagued by Alternates-otherworldly entities that mimic humans with the intent to replace them. These beings psychologically torment their victims, leading many to madness or suicide. The narrative follows a group of individuals as they confront the growing threat of the Alternates, uncovering disturbing truths about their origins and the nature of reality itself.
