The War is over and the Empire is gone, but not on the outer ring. Out there, The New Republic is nothing more than a name and it's every man for themselves. Yara and her family have been smugglers and gun runners first for the Rebels and then for the ex-Imperials looking to put up a fight. One night, her family was attacked and she was taken, stolen away from everything she had ever known because of a power she didn't understand. After almost a year in captivity, she had lost all hope of escape until a child was brought in to be subjected to the same experiments she had endured. When the door slid open to reveal their savior however, Yara was not prepared for how her life would change. She had heard only legends of Mandalorians, she had never imagined meeting one of their warriors herself. This is the Way Mando's entire life has been about his honor, the code of Mandalorians and being the best Hunter in the Outer Rim. Until the one job he couldn't let go. He delivered the child as agreed, recovered the beskar for his people, but he knew he wouldn't be able to live with himself if he left the kid in the hands of ex-imperials with delusions of grandeur. When he rescued the child he was surprised to find another prisoner; a young woman named Yara, who not only fought at his side during their escape but saved HIM. On the run, Mando will have to give up everything he has ever known to keep them safe. He and Yara must learn trust if they are going to protect the child, stay one step ahead of the Imperials, and save each other. Mandalorian x OC

After convincing Bo-Katan to help him rebuild and restore what they can, he finds comfort in one of her Mandalorian companions, Yelara. Red is a bounty hunter, one of the best bounty hunters in the universe, ask anyone in the guild. But none of them can tell you her past or her name. She goes by Red and everyone calls her that, but everyone also knows that's not her name. She's been with the guild for years and she's had her fair share of fights and strange bounties. But never had she seen a small green, big eared child. She makes a spilt second decision and now on the run for everyone she thought as friends. While on the run with a close friend she will grow closer to him and eventually the two will break down each other's walls. She will face the memories of her past and learn that her heart still has hope. (Red is a nickname used in this story the characters real name is of course (y/n) but until that is known she will be referred to as Red.)

"I need you to watch over this child I'm taking care of." The Innkeeper's eyebrows raised at the request. "Oh? For what reason?" "I need to find a job. Can't take him with me, and I can't leave him alone," Din explained curtly. "Can you watch over him until I get back?" "Well, I don't know if I'm equipped to watch him," she chortled as she waved a hand over her eyes. "But I'll keep him out of trouble. Where is he?" "He's in a carrier, it will follow you," he said, pushing a few buttons on his vambrace, moving the pram to behind the desk. "And does this child have a name or shall I call him Mando Jr?" Din breathed out a laugh at that. "No, he doesn't. He's just. . . the child." The Innkeeper pursed her lips at that, but shrugged. "Your child. Your business. Take care of your job, Mandalorian. I got him. Just come straight to the back when you're done."

Then she's sent after a certain asset who happens to be in possession of one of her own kind... and soon learns the asset himself is one of the few survivors of her original kind. Is the job really worth the pay? Or are creeds and old friends more important? Najewe soon finds herself thrown into an unexpected journey across the galaxy in search of others of both of her kinds and a plot by the remnants of the fallen Empire. ~~ This story begins in S2E3 of the Mandalorian. I don't know yet where I'm taking this for sure, but it will probably span the rest of the currently released episodes (including Book of Boba Fett) And it'll possibly be a Din Djarin X OC
