Overnight she became a mix of all of her family, emotionally distant and a stressed control freak So when Monroe finally gets some free time to herself with her son starting middle school, she begins to try and regain the person she once was - something that Monroe found increasingly difficult once she was introduced to her sons science teacher. ---

Ella Dunphy is the forgotten Dunphy child. Her older sister Haley was the party child their parents always had to watch. Her younger sister Alex was the smart one and their little brother luke was the only son. Ella is smart but not as smart as Alex, she is social but not as social as Haley, and well she doesn't do crazy stuff like her brother.
