At times you are living incredible depths of joy, the next with no rhyme or reason your heart has been torn asunder just as hers had been without any why or how. Considered an outcast in her family because she decided to live her life on her own terms and not by any societal standard, you will cheer for her and cry for her every step of the way.

Mae Faith's life was rough, they had to move half way across the world because of... an accident, At least that's what her family kept calling it. Mae was miserable, she had no friends ...anymore, plus her parents could barely keep them afloat. But one day she was volunteering at an animal shelter, when Noah walked in, along with Hailey and Lucy. Mae tried to keep her distance, but we'll didn't do a very good job... She just didn't want what happened to her to replay. Mae didn't think anyone's life could be worse than hers, and that was almost true, until she found out Noah's secret. A horse ranch called RayMoon Ranch brings them together and overall fix's Mae's hope in herself. Hey BookButterflies! This story is most definitely a love story, but also has some mystery. This is probably for ages 9-13 but really anybody can read it, that's just the appropriate information guide. The characters and plot belong to me, and I hope you enjoy! I wrote this poem in August 2023, days after she fought for her life in my arms. I poured all my pain and thoughts into these words, knowing she has already read them. Though time eases the pain, it never fully fades. But with a hopeful heart, I will see you again.

I'm basically the greatest herding dog in the world. And quite possibly the greatest fisher. Besides Massimo and Alberto, of course. The three of us, we're like pasta and pesto. Alberto claims he'll be the perfect employee. Bottom line, I'm looking forward to what he has in mind."
