We all know that while building a house, you first need to prepare the land so that it becomes capable of holding a vast building. Similarly, before sowing a seed, you first need to prep the land and soil for it to become nutrient-rich and robust enough to grow a healthy-living plant.

Coconut is one of those rare crops which have so many uses for mankind. The coconut palm tree has three edible parts namely; the fresh fruit, water and milk. Coconut tree yields an average of 50-70 mature nuts per year. Coconut shells can be used to make cups, bowls, spoons, combs, toothbrushes and buttons. Coconut palms are versatile crops as every single aspect of the plant can be put to good use such as using its leaves for weaving mats or even using them in cooking instead of salt or sugar!
