Aranya Maithili Kamble had never wanted much from life beyond the quiet pleasure of old things. She liked histories best when they were fragmented-when they asked to be pieced together slowly, patiently, with ink-stained fingers and unanswered questions. That, more than anything else, was why she had chosen archaeology. What could be more thrilling, she had once thought, than standing at the centre of every forgotten scandal, every erased devotion, every silence that history had deliberately kept? Instead, she spent her days cataloguing broken pots and arguing about ancient drainage systems. Three years into the profession, she was painfully bored. She blamed the films. The books. The romantic lies that had convinced her archaeology was anything more than slow, meticulous disappointment. There were no quests, no revelations-only sunburn, paperwork, and ruins that refused to speak. The Vaishnavata monastery in the northern foothills of the Sahyadris was no different. Old. Modest. Historically important, yes-but emotionally inert. Aranya sighed as she crouched beside what had once been a monk's sleeping alcove, absently brushing dust from the stone wall. Her brush struck something solid. She paused. and a palm-leaf slipped into her hands-almost as if the gods themselves had grown weary of her complaints about an unremarkable profession-her life, her fate, and every carefully maintained inch of her sanity would begin to unravel in that very moment, as her eyes fell upon a single name: Anurag Syamantakam.

A lost and cryptically hidden manuscript conceals a mystery dating back to the founding of Hogwarts. Tancredi Drengot, Ravenclaw student and passionate History of Magic enthusiast, begins his sixth year at the Scottish Highlands School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. While pursuing his ambition to become a teacher under Professor Cuthbert Binns' guidance, the young wizard discovers clues left by an unknown person leading to a mysterious manuscript tied to the castle's magical secrets. Amid studies, school rivalries, and a budding friendship with Quidditch star Sigrid Storm, Metamorphmagus Teddy Lupin, and the very curious and naive first-year Gwenhwyfar Silverbranch, Tancredi will have to decide how to safeguard a power that could forever change the existence of Hogwarts. **Legal disclaimer** Harry Potter and all characters, places, names, events and other elements of the narrative universe belong to J.K. I found this in a box of papers my dad had tucked away. Seems to be a part of something bigger, maybe part of a manuscript. If this seems familiar to anyone, let me know. The title was part of the header, so I know it's something called "The Silveredleaf Sage", but couldn't find anything online. I'm posting this on here as is. Note: It's taking a bit of time to convert to a digital format, I'm having to type this out by hand. I'm uploading the first chapter that I could find, will upload more as I find

Every believer prays to God, but only a few chosen-The Masters of the Name-know His true Name. When one such Master of the Name or Baal Shem, an Hasidic Rabbi, is found dead at his mansion with a cryptic bloody message etched on his forehead, Detective Gray resorts to the expertise of a renowned scholar, who unveils the link between the murderer's message and a mysterious medieval manuscript. YHWH-the holiest Name of God, revealed to Moses on Mount Horeb, the most powerful Name in this world and in The World to Come, the Name that gives both life and death. Its true pronunciation was lost with the destruction of the Second Temple, yet some Jewish tales say that even today there are a few chosen ones, known as Baalei Shem or Masters of the Name, who are able to utter the Ineffable Name and thereby perform miracles. When one such Baal Shem, an Hasidic Rabbi, is found dead at his mansion in Tiburon, CA, with a cryptic bloody message inscribed on his forehead, Detective Gray prime suspect is Tobias Serebrennikoff, a professor of literature at UC Berkeley and a J.D. Salinger's epigone, who becomes a fugitive with the help of a loyal student, Maggy Vetrini. Tobias's flight from the law turns into a pilgrimage in an effort to reconnect with his Russian Orthodox roots and to prove his innocence before the police find him. Detective Gray makes use of the expertise of a renowned Jewish scholar, who unveils the link between the murderer's codified messages and a strange piece of evidence, a medieval manuscript--Sefer ha-Shem (The Book of the Name)--by Rabbi Eleazar of Worms, a famous medieval Cabalist, wonder-worker and golem-maker. Following every available clue, Gray comes to believe that Tobias is just a scapegoat for the real killer, who devised an arcane murder to cover more mundane reasons.
