Jessie Wilson, left behind on Earth after a research project gone wrong, takes it upon himself to protect those who cannot protect themselves throughout the modern, evil wastelands dotting the globe, starting in Old Chicago. After finding abandoned Nano-Tech from one of IronClad's many research branches, Jessie, rather un-originally, gives himself the title of Ironclad, or Jessie 'Ironclad' Wilson. As the Nano-Tech adapted to the new user, the user adapted to it, forming a bond with the armor that could never be broken. Through the corrupted, tech riddled streets of a extremely unfamiliar Chicago, secret groups lie in hopes of befriending, fighting, worshipping, surviving the many robotic entities that will always be advancing, evolving, and changing like the war-machines they are. And so will Jessie.
