I personally really love the apothecary diaries and especially Maomao x jinshi, so this is my slightly AU of what would have happened if Maoma and jinshi met as kids and if lakan was in Maomao's life and the rest will be the same as what's already out in the anime and my version of certain events to suit my narrative better.
