Instead of looking offended, Alaynna's lips curved into a mischievous smile. "How disappointing for the rumours," she said with perfectly straight-faced humour. "I seem to have developed my own personality." Lily laughed aloud, while even James couldn't hide an amused grin. Alaynna gave a small shrug, still smiling. "I don't really follow all those stuffy pure-blood rules about how people are supposed to behave. They sound exhausting."
