Sirius Black doesn't settle down, that's the law. So much so, that he refused even the most popular and attractive girls when asked to make it official. No dating, period. So when the rest of the Marauders hear him confess he's in LOVE, it's a pretty big deal. James is determined to find out what mystery girl had finally captured his heart, by any means necessary. Okay. This started off as a Dumbledore era fic. I wrote "Albus Dumbledore was a brilliant student" then I couldn't think so I went crawling back to Marauders Era. Severus Snape has a crush on Lily Evans Lily Evans is dating James Potter Mary MacDonald most certainly does NOT have a crush on Severus Snape. Does she? The idea that Mary loved Severus came to me from a tumblr post I very vaugely remember. Yeah so Mary is kind of creeped out by her own weird crush on Severus. He offended Lily in fith year, so why should she like him? Him and his friends had once attacked her and burned half her hair off. She'd grown most of it back since then, but still... As you can tell, I suck at dscriptions. So I better just write the fic before I embarrass myselft.

The summer of fourth going into fifth year was definitely eventful. Sirius Black had gotten into a fight with his mother, and everything had gone down hill. It was always something with the Black family that made Sirius ashamed of his name, just wanting to /not/ have to deal with them. This term, Sirius arrives back to Hogwarts, dreading alot lately, and the only person he seems he can confide in is Remus.
