Adventure Time X OC During the Great Mushroom War, our main character was one of the few lucky survivors when everything was destroyed, broken, or shattered. The world as we knew it was gone - replaced by monsters, zombies, and vampires. Our main character, William Hunt, grew up in this broken world, forced to fend for himself after becoming the sole survivor of a group of people who were killed and eaten by monsters. Growing up in constant danger left him distant and untrusting. Eventually, he met Marceline - a half-demon, half-vampire - and the two began working together to hunt down vampires. But when one hunt went wrong, William was bitten and thrown into the ocean. A thousand years later, he washed up on the shores of Ooo and was woken by a human boy and a talking dog. This is where his story begins again.

This is an AU where virgil is the future marcaline! yeah it's kinda a interesting combo but I like it. To clarify things, Virgil used to be Marcaline the vampire queen, years after Adventure Time Together Again (yes this will have spoilers to Together Again and Obsidian) in together again, we see princess Bubblegum is supposedly dead? so after she died, marcaline had been very upset and depressed. (she was also upset because finn and Jake were dead) Marcaline left to go find Life so she could re-incarnate marcaline. she ended up being reincarnated as Virgil. (in this au the sides are all humans) however he still remmember everything from being marcaline. (Yes this does have Bubbleline, its cannon in the show. and the best Adventure time ship.) (If you dont know who Life is, she is literally her name. She is a God we meet in Advemture time finn and Jake together again)

Hi, y'all! It's been a few years since I started part one of this story, and the outpour of support is amazing! I honestly had no clue. I'd like to think I've matured in my writing, and I'd be happy to finish! I owe so much of my queer identity to Adventure Time and it's fandom, and with the show ending soon I'd like this to be my personal salute to a timeless show. :^)

One day, she hears a knocking on her door and Marceline recognizes it: the voice of a woman she used to date, a girl with dark-blue eyes, which terrifies her. She is unsure what to make of this development, considering this girl disappeared on her after promising to be with her *forever*, afraid because she thinks this *other* girl is more pretty than Bonnie, who makes a bet of what will happen *if* this girl is prettier than her. It turns out that Marceline was right, but also it is revealed that this girl, who thought she was gone for a couple of months, was actually gone for hundreds of years, which completely devastates her. Can the girl and Marceline get along again... or will this cause strains with Marceline's relationship with Bonnie? I was surprised to not see any fics with this ship already, especially since Olivia Olson voices Marceline AND Vanessa! So, this is the first one of that ship on here, from what I'm aware, and I may write others in the future, if you all like this one. I tried to respect the canonicity of bubbline here, because I love them both together. I've had this fic sitting there for a while and I decided to publish this now so it wouldn't be lost in the shuffle as I continue to go through my fic backlog. Height estimates from Reddit, although some say she is 6'2''- 6'4'' according to Reddit while summarizing some content from JAGM's complete Adventure Time Chronology. According to Vanessa's fandom page, she is 5'8" which is the same height as Candace Flynn!

Its been about 2 months since pb finished her kingdom, and 4 months sense pb and marceline broke up. They both miss each other more then anything. Will they get the happy ending they deserve?
