Alcina Biancofiore, the Magic Queen of the Blue Mountains, protector of the lands of the Mark, has just passed away and, as her final wish she had a silver bracelet of exquisite make delivered to her great niece Sibyl. It is said that the bracelet was crafted by the fairies themselves and hanging from it are five charms: a mermaid, a storyteller, a giant, a fairy and the Magic Queen's crown. At fifteen years old, Sibyl Biancofiore has a true passion for mechanics but she knows that to achieve her dream of one day having her own workshop, she will have to leave the mountain village where she was born and raised. For in the Mark, land of poets, storytellers and legends, women who can write and do sums are never seen.

Ce texte parle d'une marche que l'on a tous déjà fait au moins une fois dans sa vie, celle qui vient après un élément joyeux, triste, celle que l'on se souvient, celle qui nous bouleverse et nous renverse d'étrange sentiments que l'on ignorait posséder auparavant. Celle qui, même après des mois passées nous reste là, dans la gorge, comme quelque chose que l'on aurait du mal à avaler, comme quelque chose que l'on aurait tendance à garder en mémoire malgré nous. Cette marche là.. Vous voyez de quoi je parle n'est-ce pas ?
