The story takes place in march of 2024 when the alumni of Tokyo United Marching Band get together to perform their 2022 program, Jumping Through Light Heights.

With such a big group, and so many talented players, he knew for sure he'd get lost in the mix or even outright rejected because of the fact he'd only played trombone for a year. But the band takes him in at the start of his freshman year, and he quickly gets thrown in a loop of complicated music and even more complicated drills. POV 1: Banyan is a junior tuba player who's obsessed with normalcy. He has feelings for his friend, Ben, but refuses to accept them because it's 'abnormal'. Unfortunately enough for him, his friendship with Ben affects his relationship with his younger brother, Bodhi. He's aware that his close friendship with Ben affects Bodhi, but he can't understand why. POV 2: Ben is a senior tuba player who's basically as normal as 'normal' can be. He's well-liked, has lots of friends, but there's always that one thing he just can't have. He's had feelings for his best friend, Banyan, but he just doesn't believe that Banyan would ever reciprocate them, due to his obsession with being normal. Ben finds himself asking if he really knows who Banyan is. He's left wondering if he's misjudging their bond. POV 3: Bodhi, a sophomore French Horn player, always finds himself stuck in the shadows. It's not that he minds, but he's always had that one person he could go to no matter what. His brother, Banyan. He's known of Ben and Banyan's friendship for a while, but can't help but be jealous of the fact that Ben can make Banyan smile more than he can. Bodhi's always with Ben and Banyan, only to sit there like a decoration the entire time.

This is the untold story about two best friends who fall in love when they meet in band class. There is no sexual explicit language. There is only a harmless love story. Those are the most genuine, right? This was meant to be a short story for my English 11 class last year but it was never turned in. I hope you guys like it!

I know this is something new, but I am going to try to write a book of just random crap about marching band. The chapters will just be short quotes or advice I came up with unless I specify that I got it off the internet.

A cheesy romance centered on marching band. Prepare to be amazed, grab some popcorn, and enjoy the best book we've ever written. Warning: it's the first book we've ever written. Disclaimer: This will make you want to watch chick flicks and eat pistachio ice cream. May cause side effects of staring at drum majors and wanting to meet the two fantastic authors. Vince is a 15 Year old boy who goes to Red Oaks High School and plays Baritone in the Red Oaks Marching Band. He is a very shy kid and doesn't like to talk to anyone but his best friend, Kyle, who is a Clarinet in the Red Oaks Marching Band. They both sit quietly and rarely talk to anyone unless they have to. Red Oaks is not in the nicest part of town and is not well kept up. The staff doesn't watch any of the kids to make sure they are safe. They know that one day the Ruler of the High School, Pierce, who is the Trumpet Section leader in the Red Oaks Marching band, will one day make them his own slaves. Will Vince rise up and stand up to Pierce? Or will he become one of his nerd slaves?

In the mid of summer a sophomore chooses to not live his final three years in high school on the side lines anymore. The setting take place in a small town called Kambree, Texas which the main character Jase is from. Jase faces many obstacles in his way to become a somebody in his school. Many people are rooting for him to fail. He knows that he has a long way to go but he is determined to stop living on the side lines.
