The greatest Romantic poet, William Wordsworth has defined poetry as the spontaneous overflow of emotions recollected in tranquillity. Poetry is the purest form of literature.

*Here are some songs that my heart sang.* Broken, battered, but beautiful, I hope you get to see this book as I do. For it whispers secrets that were never said, and carries a bittersweet taste. POETICA 1st EDITION ❝He hurt me. So, I drank a venom and let this love die.❞ A miscellany of poems wrote by a girl who submerged in the depths of her endless melancholy. Since she can not fathom the words she wished to say, she dauntlessly grabbed her most tenacious weapon and let the blood of her words express her cornered emotions. ----- Started: January 22, 2019 Published: February 4, 2019 Ended: May 22, 2020 Wonderful banner & cover made by my friend: @xNurtellax (Seriously, you should check her graphics.) ----- Highest Rank Achieved ➡ #14 in Poetry ----- Copyright © 2019 by K-chan All Rights Reserved

"November is the most disagreeable month in the whole year." ---Louisa May Alcott November mornings are rather gloomy. They don't have a Christmas, an Easter, nor Halloween. Nights on November are dull and pedantic, involving nothing but bare landscapes. Novembers are rather unwanted, -quick to arrive even quicker to leave, before the icy frost hits. Everyone wants a certain 'November' gone, for the new year to approach faster. This is November's Rebellion. A series of poems a certain cynical November writes, to disseminate his disdain regarding the world and the lies surrounding it. All the other months, are welcome to revel in November's greatness. .... "No, December, I am not jealous of you featuring in a Taylor Swift song!" "January, we already had this conversation! I ain't stealing your head of house position! I just like writing poetry---" "You're a lie, April--not 'your lie in April'. C'mon you're the joke of the year, get it? April's fool?" "L'amour, dear July---" "October's a sweetheart, I don't know which idiot decided to put up a scare fest in him. He runs crying to the bathroom, every Halloween‐--oh, it was a secret." P.S: it's just a bunch of depressing, sardonic poetry, that a pessimistic November writes every month---SHHH! He claims he only writes on November morns! ( Lie spotted! ) Note: Written for contest purposes.

MY LATEST POEM TITLED 'River' IS OUT NOW! Do hop on and give it a read :') (It would be really nice to hear your thoughts, suggestions and constructive criticism if you have any!! Thank you, I really appreciate it. Do vote on your favourite poems :') Add my book to your library for all the newest updates! If you missed it, here's my first book: https://my.w.tt/c6eAULydx5 *** It's been a hot minute, eh? 5 months since I completed the first book of LRAYF. It was a success in my eyes, both creatively as a writer, and in the reactions it received. Considering that it was my first piece of work on the platform, I would say that I started on the right foot. Why not continue the good things that it brought with a sequel, right? It was truly exhilarating working on the first project, and this upcoming one will be equally exciting, if not levels higher. It's gonna be a blast, and I can't wait to share this with you! - Dias

A poem is like a song only this time, You don't need a melodic voice to sing. Like a blanket it provides coverage and warmth. It may be calm, or the storm And it's commotion, But its sure to bring out some Form of emotion. It gets you to think. Or leave you on the brink off mighty flowing tears. It may make you aware of not only yours But another's fears. A poem is so many things wrapped in one. The longing meanings of a heart's song. Raw and intune. Written by them yet authored by you. ******************************************** A collection of poem writing in the various formats from around the world. ********************************************

This is where I can express my thoughts and feelings. Not a good vocal expresser so I'd rather write it and then, share it. 😊
