Annabeth March was the 3rd oldest March sister, after Jo but before Beth and she was the only one of them who was still unsure of what her thing was. Meg had acting, Jo writing, Beth music, even Amy had her's which was art. But Annie still couldn't seem to find what she was good at. Her mother said she'd find it in time but she was starting to lose hope until she met an impulsive young Laurence boy. For those of you who have read the wonderful, beautiful and extremely lovable novel "Little Women" by Louisa May Alcott and cried when Jo rejected Laurie's proposal. I understand how you must have felt. This is a fanfiction as quoted by the title. If Jo had to reject Laurie this is how it should have ended. This fanfic depicts my point of view. What if Laurie wasn't the only Lawrence to be head over heels in love with a March sister. Only problem is Laurie has a sister is desperately in love with Amy March while she has eyes for someone else.

Laurie then finds himself conversing with this strange woman. Beth March has passed on. Amy is to travel to Europe with Aunt March. Jo is going to stay home to home to help Marmee around the home. The March house seems empty with Amy going away as well as Beth's spirit no longer with them. A letter arrives to Father. His other sister Jennifer and her husband has passed away. Leaving behind a daughter named Fiona they never knew. Jennifer begs Mr. March to welcome Fiona into their home. Amy helps bring Fiona home from Europe. Fiona at first is depressed. America is a change for her. Amy is going to travel back to Europe with aunt March. Fiona longs to go with them but has to stay and adjust. She befriends all the March sisters. Soon becomes happy to be there. She befriends Laurie a broken boy next door. Jo had refused to marry him. He was a lost soul. As was Fiona. They strike a friendship right away. Fiona falls in love with her new friend. Will Laurie ever really be free of Jo to love Fiona in return?
