Y/N is a girl who would rather date the guys in her stories, Jean is a player who can't keep a girlfriend to save his life. But when Jean accidentally finds about Y/N's secret life as an author, the two make a contract: 1. Jean and Y/N will date until she finishes her novel 2. In exchange, she must help Jean get closer to her best friend, Mikasa Ackerman 3. There's a minimum of two dates a week (in order to provide plot for the novel, of course) 4. Hand-holding and hugging is okay, kissing or anything else intimate is a big no-no. 5. and the last rule, no falling in love with each other. That last rule seems unnecessary, because of course you would never - EVER - fall in love with a guy like Jean Kirstein...right? Each chapter has 2 povs, one in Y/N's pov and one in Jean's. ~So there's this guy in my class at Wall Rose High School. It's safe to say that he stands out more than anybody and we have some strange people at our school, including myself. This kid's name is Marco Bott. He's got dark brown hair, tan skin, an infestation of freckles, and terrible taste in fashion. ~ Jean thought the same thing as everyone else about the strange character named Marco, which was "stay away from the dorky weirdo". Jean had seen the kid look at him from afar and he didn't want to be anywhere near the loser, and he'd planned to do so; until they got paired up in an art class they had to take. JeanMarco is my OTP and there will be harsh language because Jean is a punk/bad to the bone type guy. Marco is well... He's a dork down to the core and nothing can change that, same with Jean being a jerk to everyone. That is, until they both get thrown together and one of them realizes that the other isn't that bad.
