As Ace is about to spend Christmas Eve alone, Thatch suggests that he spend the evening at Thatch's father's house. Ace accepts, not knowing that he is meeting another member of Thatch's family that evening.

All he wanted was for just a single moment of peace, to have a night to himself and just wallow in self-pity. But with a crew their size it seemed impossible to do just that. Especially when a certain commander feels the need to get involved and ruin his night.
