Star has to make a compromise with her mom. She would have to go to St. Olga's Reform School For Wayward Princesses for a year then she could come back to earth. Marco was sad to see her leave, but as he got ready for high school things change. When she gets back one year later, Marco isn't the friend she knew. High School changes people. They have to become best friends again as an evil force is forming against them.

Star Butterfly was her parents Toy or doll or maybe a distraction for the higher class boys, but when star trys to woo the Diaz's son she stops not wanting to hurt him because she might feel something that she hasn't felt in forever.. Now that she knows who he is she will try not to be in contact with him to give her parents the satisfaction they want
