This is a story told by a veteran gear, of his journey through the Locust War. Follow as he describes his history fighting the Locust, learning about the Lambent, he's gains and losses, and his run in with some familiar faces, as well as some notable appearances by our favourite CoG soldiers. "For 79 years, the Coalition of Ordered Government fought against the Union of Independent Republics on our planet of Sera, for the natural resource, Imulsion. Sera found peace for six weeks, before the Locust rose on what became known as Emergence Day. My name is Beau Larét, and this is my story."

Logan James Howlett was born years before the pendulum wars with an extremely rare mutation in his DNA which gave him extraordinary healing powers and bone claws an by the time he was a full grown man he stopped physically aging and years later the pendulum wars between the COG and UIR started and he enlisted and was called one name that matched his savageness and brutality and that name was The Wolverine. But halfway through the war the UIR was desperate to try and make new weapons to beat the COG and it was by chance and miracle that they captured the wolverine. The UIR had heard many stories about the savage creature and they had hundreds of dead soldiers to prove this and for over a year and a half they experimented on him, testing what his limits of healing were and through all the bullets, burns, and poisoning they found his healing factor was essentially limitless and a particular scientist he and ONLY he made a metal so dense it was virtually indestructible and he called it adimantium. they injected the super metal into directly into his skeleton and him even more dangerous than he was before and in a berserker rage he killed everyone within the base including the scientist and he went on with the COG to finish and win the pendulum wars along with other soldiers he considered to be his family and after the war he finally got a chance to breath and live in peace........until an even greater threat emerged.

It took us fifteen years to finally put an end to the Locust war and longer to get over the losses we had. Not many people know what all happen during the war, most of those that do are either dead or wish they were dead. The things we saw can never leave our minds or our hearts and the things I saw during the war..... they destroyed a part of me.

25 years after the Locust war ended a new threat rises, one that tries to break the peace that the Gears fought so hard to make, now a new group works together to stop it, and to save the people they love from certain death. But will the sacrifice to save the world be worth it?
