The human race has decided to partake in a devastating nuclear war known as The Great Mushroom War. The largest bomb made has just been dropped, releasing powerful evil and magic into the world. Many organisms, including humans, are now extinct. Civilizations are severely damaged and turned into ancient ruins. Common things like video tapes and CD's and cars are now ancient history. Only two survive the dangerous blast. One: a man, aged 47, by the name of Simon Petrikov and a little girl, aged 7, named Marceline. Marceline, born half demon half human, survived the powerful blast because of her demon "heritage." Simon, however, owns a magical crown that protected him as the bomb went off. The crown provides Simon with the powers of ice and snow when worn atop his head. The crown also gives Simon the gift of immortality, but all magic comes with a price and the crown is slowly driving Simon mad. It has quickened his aging process and has turned his skintone to a pale blue, has elongated his nose and has given him white hair and a white beard. Simon and Marceline were friends before the last bomb went off and are together, trying to survive the apocalyptic world once knows as Earth. Even with the extinction of most life there are many dangers and obstacles that Simon and Marceline must face to stay alive. They are the last of their kind. They are the last of us...

This is an AU of Season 3 that I wrote before Season 3 came out. After her death, Marcy finds a notebook in the castle and begins to write down her thoughts, but little does she know, a lot more adventure than just journal entries awaits. Spoilers! I don't own the show, Amphibia, but I do own the story and the art for the cover and at the end of the story. Anne, Sasha, and Marcy wins a scholarship from the Speed Wagon Foundation. Marcy can now pursue a career as awriter. She gets a scholarship to study in the Japanese town of Morioh. Able to bring her three friends. While there they meet new friends. While in Morioh the three and her new magical friends and her Japanese friends get to a ton of fun.

In order for a fairy tale to be a fairy tale there has to be a specific set of rules and boundaries set up. These rules consist of a relentless villain, a beautiful but spineless and soft spoken damsel in distress, and of course, her sexy and charming hero. But have you ever noticed that all fairy tales have the one unspoken, almost golden, rule? “What rule is that?” You must be wondering. Well, that rule is; Heroes get dibs. This applies even when the aforementioned hero doesn't exactly deserve his princess. However, this is not a fairy tale and Marcelene Harris is no princess. She’s hardheaded, big mouthed, impulsive, insecure, and always getting into trouble. So typically someone like this -a recipe for disaster- needs a hero, and she has one. So what’s wrong with this picture? Well, she is convinced that her knight in shining armor is dating her best friend and she is NOT happy. Then one night at a wild frat party she meets a mysterious bartender that will have Walt Disney weeping and the Grimm Brothers cheering. He is an absolute game changer and seems to want Marcy for himself. But the problem is he’s not the one who saved her, so he does not have the rights to her heart. Be that as it may, no one seems to give a damn about the typical rules regarding a fairy tale, and with the paparazzi cast as the fire breathing dragon, shit is bound to go down. This leaves our poor damsel juggling two boys, two pasts, two futures, and a crap load of high school drama. How will Marcy ever make it out alive? Or better yet, who will help her make it out alive? *PREVIOUSLY NAMED "COLOR BLIND"*
