Poetry is a form of release, these poems give you a look at me at my best and even worst times.

Aspen is back and ready to learn about herself for once. She won her competition and now she's ready to tackle an entire kingdom of backwards laws. First she has to find out more about her own powers and control them. Then she has to take on a world that has already tried to kill her. This time she has more weaknesses and more anger. Aspen is ready to end things and go back to her old life for good. The question is will she change things or will she become another female to be controlled by others?

"I hope they found the missing kid." "Missing kid? What missing kid? My phone never gave me an Amber Alert." "The one on the news that went missing from last night's Mardi Gras Party. Tsk! Would it kill you to watch it sometimes?" Every Mardi Gras, a monster is known to wander into the first Mardi Gras party. The monster draws one kid away from the party and takes their form. Using the kid's body, the monster lurks around parades to kill off any victim if finds during parades. One unlikely group of friends during a parade on the route of Saint Charles accidentally finds this monster.

A Story of Mardi Gras

A story I wrote back in 2015 about a girl with 'daddy problems' and a guy who's girlfriend just can't commit and how their stories cross path during Mardi Gras and change for the better. (I'm publishing this story as I wrote it back then with no editing and unfinished for the time being. So please be kind to spelling and grammar mistakes and my idiotic spelling of "ya" instead of "you".
