(Complete!!!) A Red Queen fan fiction that I also have up on Fanfiction. (please don't freak out, I do have a pen name on fan fiction and this is my story. Please don't think I copied and pasted, that would be horrible.) They may be the only hope that the fledgling rebellion has. Her inner turmoil continues to mount though as she struggles once more over her feelings for Cal, the Traitor Prince who is in the custody of the Scarlet Guard and struggling with his own demons. As war looms on the horizon, they must either forgive each other to save what they love, or watch as everything they have ever worked for falls apart before them. Only one thing is certain in this new dawn: KNEEL OR BLEED.

A modern Red Queen AU, following a nerdy teenage schizophrenic, an abusive mother, and a crippled family altogether. I guess you could say the things that go on here is family business.

This is a fanfiction for Victoria Aveyard's series Red Queen. What would happen if Mare chose the crown betraying everything she's worked for. And her own blood. She's trapped in conflict of leaving Cal again or staying with him for the sake of her own sanity. An alternative beginning for Glass Sword. Everything happened so fast, in one moment Mare thought she was manipulating the two brothers and in the next she was being stabbed in the back by one of them, and in the following she was fighting for her life by the other brother side at the Bowl of Bones. They say that when the adrenaline pulses through our veins, when we are in constant danger and fighting for our lives we get anesthetized and when the adrenaline is gone, everything there is left it's reality and it hits us right where it hurts the most. Mare Barrow just saw her world fall apart, taking with it all the terrible choices and the cruel betrayals, forcing her to face the ruins. With a war about to emerge there will be many battles and she is not sure if she can win the one she has feelings for.

The story takes place a little after War Storm, and Mare, now a captain, begins to date Tyton. An unexpected turn of events leads her back to Norta, back to Cal. Read to find out what happens!

Silvers pass down their abilities from the father to the child, except for a rare occurrence where a child inherits the mother's abilities instead. Leonara Calore III is the daughter of Tiberias Calore VII and Coriane Jacos. She is the elder sister of Tiberias Calore VIII, the heir to the throne of the Kingdom of Norta. Leonara is the first case of a descendant of House Calore to inherit her mother's abilities instead of her father's. Due to the fact that she is not a burner, she cannot wear the Nortan crown, which means her brother, Cal, is the heir to the throne. As there is no precedent of Leonara's situation, she is sent to her uncle, Julian Jacos, to be raised as a member of the House Jacos until she is of age to marry. Afterwhich, she will retain her title as Princess Leonara Calore III until she is wed. Original characters and plot belong to Victoria Aveyard. The story will be loosely based on the events that follow in Red Queen, the first book of the series. The story follows Leonara Calore III, so there will be less focus on the more well known characters.

This is the story of Mare rekindling things with Cal, Evangeline trying to deal with the current issue facing The New Free Republic of Norta, an assassination attempt that left Julian, the current Premier on his deathbed, and Farley trying to figure out what, if any, Powers her infant may possess and how on earth she's going to deal with them. *Though none of this is a Marecal oneshot, Cal's fourth POV can be read as one. **I OWN NOTHING!!
