This book explores the sex lives of women with disabilities in Nepal, showing that many women suffer more than men despite prevailing disability policies that emphasize nondiscrimination against people with disabilities. It also argues that far from general perceptions of women as asexual, women with disabilities are capable of leading highly creative and fulfilling sexual lives. Using critical sexual theory and postcolonial studies as critical frameworks, the book investigates the narratives of authors with disabilities, exploring policy gaps and the need for supportive gender and sexual policies through the words of those affected. In particular, the book analyzes five female Nepali authors with disabilities: Radhika Dahal, Jhamak Ghimire, Sabitri Karki, Parijaat, and Mira Sahi, demonstrating the need for supportive gender policies to address the emotional and psychological needs of women with disabilities. Overall, the book argues that disciplinary discourses in practice often consider sex or sexuality as taboo, barely recognizing women in the context of marriage and family, and therefore creating gaps between policies and marginalized narratives. This book provides important insights into sex and disability within the context of the Global South, and as such will be of interest not only to researchers working on Nepal but also to scholars across gender studies, disability studies, international development, and postcolonialism

#Book 1 in the Broken series. © ######### WARNING: Before you embark on this, please be aware that this book is still under editing and is not completely free of typos. You may proceed if you have no problem with this. ************* "Eyes don't lie, but mine do." ~Kylo-Nuri Rhys Knox. "Perhaps if the world was burning, find a mountaintop and watch." ~Kylo-Nuri Rhys Knox. ************* Hot and brooding, damaged and troubled, Kylo-Nuri is the perfect example of chaos wearing human skin. With voices in his head that existed to wreck him, and little to no recollection of what life was before the big tragedy struck, he's an angelic-looking man who has chosen to drown his demons. But is it always that easy? That's till a chance encounter with a rather striking young lady turns his already destabilized life upside down. Shocked, overwhelmed and outraged by how easily she's creeping into his life, Kylo has just two questions: Does happiness truly exist or is it just a façade waiting to blow up with time? Most importantly, does he want it? They say darkness is an infection and light is its cure. What they didn't say is what happens when darkness is allergic to light. A/N: This is strictly my work of art, do not copy. I reserve full rights to this book. Also, do read the book one first. The sequel cannot be read as a stand alone. The sequel "Aftermath", is coming soon. This book is on hold for now because I want to have it completed in my drafts before returning to dump it here for eyes to read and hearts to appreciate. #Emotionaldistress.

Highest Rank: #601 in Non-Fiction Remember the Federalist Papers? If you're interested in an angsty college student's perspective on what's going on in this Wattpad community, this is the place to browse. I warn you, I use college level vocabulary and I attack lofty concepts. This is not a read for the faint of heart but the chapters are short. I try to be succinct but I have a tendency to digress. Feel free to ask questions and discuss, but be warned, I will very likely respond ;)
